The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly proceeding.
